An MP is reminding her constituents to check if they are eligible for the Government’s Warm Home Discount Scheme.
Consumers may be able to get £140 off their
electricity bill this winter if they get the Guarantee Credit element of
Pension Credit, or if they are on a low income and meet their energy supplier’s
criteria for the scheme.

“I would urge any constituents of mine who
think they may be eligible for this scheme to check with their energy supplier
that they are still accepting applications.
“People should apply as soon as possible as
suppliers only provide the Warm Home Discount to a certain number of customers.
